The 4th row center stone in your breastplate is beryl. It is called ‘shoham’ in Hebrew. It is associated with the tribe of Joseph. Joseph means ‘he will increase’.

The clear white stone associated with Joseph signifies clarity of prophetic knowledge and wisdom and of clearly seeing heaven. Joseph was such a man. The Hebrew word ‘shoham’ means ‘to turn white’. (Hence, it’s use as the name of a clear white gem.)

The shoham gem in your breastplate represents holiness. Holiness means purity. It means allowing the Lord to remove the impurities from your life. It means being single-minded in having the Lord the center of your life. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. “He who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.” (James 1:8, 6-7)

The central ministry of Jesus and the Holy Spirit is to “convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8), to bring about holiness. God does not want you to be “tossed by the wind.

The 2nd row center stone in your breastplate is aquamarine. It is called ‘sappiyr’ in Hebrew. It is associated with the tribe of Naphtali. Naphtali means ‘my struggle’.

The key to overcoming struggles in your life is to rise above them to get God’s perspective. The light blue aquamarine stone at the center of your breastplate is there to remind you to rise above your struggles. Struggles should have the effect of causing you to spend more time with God. Allow Him to show you things from His point of view.

The Hebrew word ‘sappiyr’ means ‘to write with a mark, to inscribe’. It is meant to remind you that you are not alone.

Isaiah 49:14-18a:
But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.” Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely, they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me. Your sons shall make haste; your destroyers and those who laid you waste shall go away from you. Lift up your eyes, look around and see;

The Lord proclaims, I “inscribed you on the palms of My hands”. In your time of struggle, let the light blue color of aquamarine remind you that the Lord has not forsaken you. It is impossible for Him to do so. He’s tattooed you into the palm of His hands!
